Little Buds Art & Nature Program at Laumeier Sculpture Park

Little Buds Art & Nature Program is a half-day enrichment program designed for curious young artists. Young artists experience art and nature through hands-on play and exploration of the Park. Activities include seasonal art projects, sculpture walks, creek exploration, hiking, music and movement, reading, special guests, family field trips, and plenty of play. Small class sizes and incredible teacher-student ratios allow for a safe, open-ended, early childhood education experience. Little Buds meets on Tuesdays + Thursdays, 9 a.m.- noon, from Tuesday, Sept. 3, through Thursday, May 21. Check-in runs each day from 8:30 - 9 a.m. The program includes seasonal family field trips, Art Walks (student art showcase), and parties. Registration is ongoing; artists may join at the start of any month from September through May.

Monthly fee includes all art making materials. A packing list of personal items will be noted in the Little Buds Family Handbook, which will be emailed to you after we’ve received your registration.
