St. Louis Virtual Storytelling Festival

  • When: Tuesday, May 4, 2021 - All Day Event
  • Location: Online Event
  • Cost: Free

The St. Louis Storytelling Festival is a University of Missouri Extension Community Arts Program. We have an annual multi-day, multi-site community event the first week of May, a monthly Story Lounge (4th Thursdays), and other year-round events.

The 2021 Virtual St. Louis Storytelling Festival is coming up! This year, to honor Missouri's bicentennial, we will take listeners on a "Journey of Stories Across Missouri." The dates are April 29–May 14, 2021, and the festival will be completely virtual.

Featured storytellers this year all have significant connections to Missouri. Bobby Norfolk, Joyce Slater, and Beth Horner will be featured in live virtual events on Thursday, April 29; Friday, April 30; and Saturday, May 1. We'll also have a few other live virtual events until May 14, and we are collaborating with HEC Media to provide on-demand video content for registered participants to access prerecorded stories for K-12 audiences, families, and communities.

Check out our Schedule page for a full schedule plus info on how to register for live virtual events and access content.
