Prairie Commons Branch

The Prairie Commons Branch has served the northwest area of St. Louis County since opening in 1986. Extensive renovations started in 2016 as part of Your Library Renewed. Upgrades included a colorful new children's area, inspired by nature with bright colors, organic shapes and several reading nooks. Two private study rooms were added to the branch, as well as a new computer lab, a quiet reading room, a laptop bar, a business center with fax, scanner and copy machines and a vending area. The branch and its community garden are both visible from Highway 270.
