The event offers something for everyone, from serious runners to families looking for a fun fall morning together.
The morning will feature a timed 5K Run/Walk through Maplewood, followed by a half-mile Fun Run for all ages. Costumes are encouraged for both events, with prizes awarded for Best Kid’s Costume and Best Group Costume during the Fun Run.
And the fun doesn't end at the finish line.Following the races, participants and the broader community are invited to stay at Schlafly Bottleworks (7260 Southwest Ave. St. Louis, MO 63143) for an after-party with Trunk-or-Treating, local artisans and performers, vendors, food, drinks and plenty of opportunities to celebrate all things MapleWeird. The after-party will take place as part of Schlafly Bottleworks’ monthly Sundaze event.
5K Run/Walk — 9:30 a.m.
The timed 5K will take participants on a loop through beautiful Maplewood, passing parks, local businesses and cheering crowds along the way. The course includes some hills and begins and ends at Schlafly Bottleworks. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes, and 5K participants can also register for the half-mile Fun Run.
Fun Run — 10:30 a.m.
The half-mile Fun Run is designed for the whole family. Costumes are encouraged, with prizes for Best Kid’s Costume and Best Group Costume. Every adult registered for the Fun Run will receive a Schlafly drink, and every child will receive a race medal.
After-Party — 11:00 a.m.
After crossing the finish line, participants and community members can stay at Schlafly Bottleworks for more fall fun. The celebration is part of Schlafly's Sundaze event and will include Trunk-or-Treating, local performers and artisans, face painting, vendors, food and drinks, along with the announcement of the costume contest winners.
