India’s Diwali Festival at the Magic House

This month we are celebrating Diwali, India’s Festival of Light! As one of India’s most widely observed festivals, we will be among the billions of people from around the world celebrating the symbolic victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. Join us this holiday season for an art demonstration and workshop that will shed light on this long time Indian celebration.
Bal Vihar Center for Indian Cultural Education works to promote, instill, and foster Indian culture in children through yogasana, Indian literature, service programs and other cultural education programs. Gayathri Seetharaman, Pratima Murali, and Shilpa Rao are all teaching artists with a passion for Indian art and culture.
