Fishing Derby at Watson Trail Park

Come out to Watson Trail Park from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 12th for our annual Fishing Derby!
This family-friendly event is designed especially for kids and beginner anglers, making it a great opportunity to learn, practice, and enjoy a relaxed morning of fishing.
Participants will be given a Fishing Scorecard at check-in to track and record their catches throughout the event. Participants should bring any fish they would like measured to the measurement station.
Prizes will be awarded for:
Catching a fish over 20 inches (one prize per angler)
Catching a fish under 2 inches (one prize per angler)
Most unique catch (something unusual or unexpected!)
Please sign in with a volunteer before the derby begins so we can keep track of participants.
The Fishing Derby is free to attend, and pre-registration is not required. Please bring your own fishing supplies.
