Come celebrate 100 years of Route 66 during Wildwood’s three-day Cruise • Tunes & Taste celebration, July 17–19, 2026. From classic cars and motorcycles to live music, local food, historic experiences, and family activities, Wildwood’s historic Route 66 corridor will transform into a one-of-a-kind community festival inspired by America’s most iconic highway!

FRIDAY – TUNES
July 17 | 6:45–9:15 p.m. | Village Green (16860 Main Street)
Kick off the weekend with a Route 66-themed concert by The Rockwood Boys at Village Green featuring live music, history experiences, Essen Log Cabin tours, and family-friendly fire, ambulance, and police vehicle activities.

SATURDAY – CRUISE & SHOWCASE
July 18 | 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. (Cruise at 10:30 a.m.) | Multiple Locations (see detailed information below)
Experience the heart of the celebration with a corridor-wide cruise, themed vehicle divisions, live music, restaurant tents, food trucks, family-friendly activities, business specials, historical exhibits, games, dancing, and more across multiple Route 66 destinations throughout Wildwood. Free shuttles will connect activity nodes throughout the day.

SUNDAY – TASTE
July 19 | 12:00 p.m. Historic Marker Unveiling at Big Chief Roadhouse (17352 Manchester Road) | 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Joe Sonderman Presentation at Living Word Church (17315 Manchester Road) | Special Events Planned at Area Businesses and Restaurants Throughout the Day
Wrap up the celebration with Route 66-themed dining experiences, brunch specials, live music, National Ice Cream Day at Singers Ice Cream, a historic marker unveiling at Big Chief Roadhouse, and a special Route 66 presentation by Joe Sonderman.
