Enjoy stories about animals and learn about animal habitats. Kids can craft an animal tail or animal ears to stretch their imagination, then meet the puppets of St. Louis Shakespeare Festival’s Romeo and Zooliet! Ideal for ages 5-10 and families. July 11 | 9-11 am (Puppet appearance: 9:45) – Listening Room at the High Low (3301 Washington Ave)
Join us for Kids in the Arts District, a free, family-friendly experience designed to spark creativity, movement, and exploration across Grand Center. Marko Polo, singer/songwriter, educator, and recording artist based in St. Louis, MO blends groovy rock and roll guitar with catchy hooks and memorable topics that connect with listeners of all stripes. The puppets and performers of St. Louis Shakespeare Festival’s Romeo and Zooliet will make a special appearance. St. Louis ArtWorks will be on-hand to help kids and families complete a make-or-take arts project. And kids can design their own greenway at the Great Rivers Greenway LEGO table. Complimentary snacks will be provided.

July 11 | 10 am – 1 pm (Puppet appearance: 11:30 am) – Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis
Family Day is a time where families can take part in family-centered activities. Young people and their families drop in at any time throughout the morning and afternoon to join CAM and community partners for hands-on visual and performing art activities, storytelling, and performances!

Our puppet friends will join “Storytelling in the Museum” and tell their new friends a story! Stick around to meet the puppets in Grand Hall from 11 am – 12 pm.

August 4 | 11:30 am – Circus Harmony at City Museum
Come see the puppets run away and join the circus! They will be appearing with Circus Harmony in the circus ring on the third floor of City Museum! Will they find their balance? Show off their strength? Defy gravity on the trapeze? Or will they just clown around? Then stay for in the ring for a sensational show by the Circus Harmony captivating campers!

August 5 | 4 pm – Riverboats at the Gateway Arch
Meet a puppet on the banks of the Mississippi before joining them on a riverboat cruise at 4:30 pm. [Riverboat tickets must be purchased in advance, either online or on site.]
