
The Eureka Hills Branch is hosting a Route 66 Celebration on Friday, June 26, at 6:00 p.m. The event will celebrate 100 years of Route 66 with a vintage car meet, plus family-friendly activities inside and outside the library. The event is free and open to the public. Individuals who wish to participate in the car meet must register their vehicle in advance to guarantee a parking spot: https://www.slcl.org/events/route-66-car-meet
The Route 66 Celebration will include live music from Circle the Wagons and refreshments provided by Knights of Columbus Council 3511 (while supplies last). Activities include yard games, photo and selfie stations, a scavenger hunt, a movie viewing of “Cars,” crafts, and more.
