Homestead Days at Fort Zumwalt Park

Homestead Days are back at Fort Zumwalt Park! Join us on Sunday, June 14, from noon - 3:00 p.m. for guided tours of the historic Heald Home and Zumwalt's Fort. We have completely revamped the tour experience so tourists can learn about the daily life and traditions of our early settlers. Gardening and herbs played a supporting role in homestead life, providing food, flavor, and practical household uses.
Following the tour of these historic sites, visitors may participate in a hands-on herb planting activity and take home their own small herb garden! This is a great interactive and educational activity for families of all ages. Tours and the activity are included in the cost of admission.
