Glen Carbon Homecoming

Father's Day Weekend, June 19-20, 2026. The event opens at 5 pm on Friday and 3 pm on Saturday, closing at 11 pm on both nights. Register for the Covered Bridge 5K on Saturday morning at finallapracing.com. Shuttle service available from Village Hall to Wooden Nickel (entrance of event) from 5:30 - 10:30 pm both nights. Please note: during the 5 pm parade on Saturday, the shuttle service will be paused. It's also the 125th Anniversary of the Glen Carbon Fire District! Stop by the fire station on Sat., June 20, from 1 -3 pm (199 S. Main Street) for an Open House with food, music, a bounce house, and more.

Carnival. Pre-sale tickets available beginning Mon., June 15 at Village Hall during normal operating hours. On the Friday of Homecoming, ticket sales will conclude at 3 pm at Village Hall, but you can still purchase during the event. For the 100th Anniversary: $1 ride tickets during the hours 3-5 pm on Sat., June 20. Special color-coded tickets will be available at carnival site only.
Live Music. Friday Night Well Hungarians hit the stage at 7 pm. Saturday night Matt Heaton will be performing from 4 - 6 pm with Just In Time kicking off by 7:30 pm.
Fireworks. A show that will be better than ever, find a perfect spot on Main Street for Saturday night's fireworks (9:30 pm approximate start time).
