Sandcastle Beach at the Magic House

With the help of 10 truckloads of sand, The Magic House’s backyard is being transformed once again into a beachfront park. Visitors can take a stroll along the boardwalk, search for some seashells at the shell dig, relax under a colorful beach umbrella, and have the chance to build a sandcastle alongside world-champion sand sculptor Dan Belcher as he sculpts a gigantic 65-ton sandcastle! This exhibit is included in museum admission.
Sandcastle Beach opens during our Kick‑Off to ’90s Summer event on Friday, May 22, and is included with regular Museum admission. It runs from May 22 – July 6, 2026
