
Women of Virtue Emerging Launches 8-Week Youth Empowerment Program at Florissant’s JFK Community Center
FLORISSANT, MO – [Date of Release] – Local non-profit organization Women of Virtue Emerging (WOVE) is proud to announce its latest initiative: an 8-week enrichment program dedicated to empowering young ladies ages 12-21 in the Florissant community. The series will be hosted at the John (JFK) Community Center, beginning May 13th, 2026.
The program is structured around WOVE’s foundational Four Pillars of Excellence, aiming to provide wholistic development for participants. The curriculum includes focused sessions on: Self Worth, teaching participants to prioritize their inherent value and self-care; Leadership, helping them find their voice to lead with integrity; Academic Excellence, providing strategies to prepare for success both inside and outside the classroom; and Financial Literacy, building essential skills for a stable and independent life.
The classes will run weekly on Wednesdays from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Registration is required.
