Join us for the final Gateway to the Stars program at Gateway Arch National Park this year! On Friday, Nov. 28, from 5 - 7:30 pm we're going to explore the "ghosts" of the Arch grounds and have a telescope viewing of the night's sky (weather permitting). Come learn about the various incarnations of the park grounds and the fortunes and misfortunes of historical figures such as Eero Saarinen, James Eads, Thomas Targee, Percy Green, and Kenneth Swyers. Once a French colonial village and then primarily a warehouse district, the area of Gateway Arch National Park has always been central to the history of St. Louis. Learn about some major events, both great and tragic, that shaped the history of the area. This Ranger-led program will be held in the Education Classroom inside the Gateway Arch National Park visitor center. Free telescope viewing on the Entrance Plaza from 5:30-7:30 p.m., weather permitting.
It's a free event, but space is limited. So register early to guarantee your spot here: https://hubs.li/Q03Tzq4Q0
