Candlelight Stroll at Thornhill at Faust Park

It may be cold, it may be dreary but Thornhill in Faust Park is decorated and waiting for you to visit the home of Missouri’s 2nd governor, Frederick Bates, in the year 1824. Come see how the holidays were celebrated 200 years ago when Missouri was a new state. Pinecones, acorns, ladies in silk dresses, gentlemen in waist coats…these are a few of our favorite things.
Visit the historic site during the evening on Friday, December 12th and Saturday, December 13th from 6 until 9 pm to explore the house by candlelight, enjoy the train exhibit in the barn and refresh yourself with some yummy hot chocolate and cookies.
