The Theatre Guild of Webster Groves announces youth auditions for Little Women, novel by Louisa May Alcott, adapted for stage by Claire Hough, edited by Sarah Clay

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.
Resume & headshot or recent photos are not required, but welcome. You will be asked to fill out a form at auditions. Please arrive a few minutes early to complete the form.
No appointment necessary, BUT auditions will begin PROMPTLY at the start time listed.
AUDITION DATE: October 6th, at 7:00 PM LOCATION: 517 Theatre Lane, Saint Louis, MO 63119
PERFORMANCE DATES: December 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th. - Shows are at 7:30pm with a Sunday matinee at 2:00pm.
REHEARSAL DATES & TIMES: Rehearsals will be Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 6:30PM beginning October 8th. Rehearsals will NOT be held on or around Halloween and Thanksgiving.
All actors MUST be completely available during tech rehearsals and performances the Week of December 1st through 7th.
This is a youth production and we will only be considering performers between 8 and 19 years of age as of opening night (December 4th, 2025). Children younger than 8 years old will be considered for the "flexible casting" roles listed below.

6W: Meg, Jo, Beth, Amy, Marmee, Aunt March
4M: Laurie, John, Father, Mr. Laurence
Flexible casting: Party-goers, carolers
SYNOPSIS: Set in Concord, Massachusetts, the story begins just before Christmas in the midst of the Civil War, with the March family facing financial difficulties while their father serves as a chaplain in the Union army. The sisters, each with distinct personalities, strive to support one another and grow into their own identities as they navigate the challenges of growing up during the American Civil War.
