Kids Self-Defense Class at the Maryland Heights Community Center

- Cost: $25 for members and residents, and $30 for non-residents.
(Ages 8-13) Empower your child with essential self-defense skills in an intro-level self-defense class! Led by an experienced 2nd-degree black belt, Miss Kennedy, this engaging class covers the fundamentals of self-protection in a fun and interactive environment. Through dynamic activities and easy-to-learn techniques, kids will discover the power of awareness, effective communication, and basic self-defense moves. From understanding the importance of personal space to learning how to release from holds, our class equips children with valuable tools to stay safe in various situations. Designed specifically with children in mind, this class instills confidence and promotes a sense of empowerment.
