Calling all Paw-Some Safety Buddies!
Join us for a meaningful, different way to talk about safety with kids. In a world with too many news stories, we teamed up with top therapists, first responders, and nonprofit advocates for a Safety Extravaganza featuring our very own Marshall from Paw Patrol. We are so thankful for our friends from Autism Support Now, who not only gifted us Marshall but will also be present for this event.
Fenton Fire Department is bringing their Safe House! This amazing Safe house has warm doors, teaching kids not to open them. Marshall will be walking kids through as we learn how be safe.
Freddie Ford- Hey Marshall, Get a Grown Up! This fun activity teaches kids that water is fun and amazing, but safety starts with the right swimsuit and grown-up assistance, especially since Marshall can't swim. Children will help put a vest on Marshall and remind him that when he gets too close to a pool, he needs to grab a grown-up.
SSM Health- Who's a Friend and Who's a Stranger?
Autism Support Now- Hey look my friend is running off! We are each others helpers, its good to say something!
Rise Behavior- Make super fun grounding bags, and taking a moment to comfort yourself can make a big difference.
Easter Seals and the St. Louis Arc: Support and resources.
At the end, each friend will get a safety buddy certificate signed by Marshall!
Inside is a special glow-in-the-dark party. There are three tickets left. If a child should need assistance, we will gladly bring them inside the gym to help them regulate. We are limiting the number of people inside the gym to ensure we can provide this vital assistance. This is why there is an extra charge for being inside: $25 per child and $20 for siblings. However, it is entirely free outside the gym, except for a few vendors, including Hannah Tattoos and food trucks. We truly hope you love this event as much as we have. With over a year and a half of planning and praying, it's finally here!
