Rec Fest at the National Great Rivers Museum

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Rivers Project invites you to REC Fest – the largest recreation and safety festival in the Riverbend! Kick off the summer season with your family at the National Great Rivers Museum from 10:00AM to 3:00PM at this FREE, adventure-themed event, rain or shine.

With over 25 partnering organizations providing fun, interactive activities, you are sure to find a recreation connection for you!
- Climb the rock wall with Upper Limits Rock Gym & Pro Shop
- See the stars with The Nature Institute’s Mobile Planetarium
- Hit a bullseye on the archery range with St. Charles County Parks
- Meet your favorite mascots at NOON: FREDBIRD® of the St. Louis Cardinals, Blazer the Newfie from LCCC, Bobber the Water Safety Dog, and more!
- Live animal shows with Animalogy at 11AM, 12:30PM, and 2PM
- Lock and Dam Tours 10AM-3PM
- Refuel with great food from local food vendors
- And so much more!

The first 200 visitors to complete at REC FEST passport will also receive a free River Dragons Baseball ticket or a Gateway Grizzles Baseball ticket! All 4th Grade students that complete their passport will also receive a free 'Every Kid Outdoors Pass' which provides free admission to National Parks and public lands this summer.
