Storymakers Studio at Betty's Books

Your comic-loving kids will be excited to join in Storymakers Studio, a special drop-off event for creative kids with an interest in graphic novels such as Dogman, Unicorn Diaries, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Pokemon, etc. We will take inspiration from our favorite characters and create our own comic book character. Each participant will come home with a character board, ready to jump onto the page of their future story or comic book creation.

This program is led by WE PLAY, WE THRIVE, offering enriching class experiences for children incorporating interactive learning experiences. These play-based classes are educator-led and designed with child development at the focus. You can find offerings both indoors and out with a range of activity types and age groups, including mixed-age groups, well suited for the entire family.
The event is hosted by Betty's Books, a unique, locally-owned bookstore specializing in comics, graphic novels, manga, and children's literature.
