Fishing Derby at Hellebusch Park

The Kiwanis Club of Bridgeton, along with the Bridgeton and Maryland Heights Parks and Recreation departments, are sponsoring a FREE kids’ fishing derby at Hellebusch Park in Bridgeton.
This will be a day of fun for children ages 4-12. There is no cost to participate; just bring your own rod and reel and we will furnish the bait. There will be free hot dogs and soft drinks for all participants. Adults must accompany the children.
All ages register at 9:45 a.m. Fishing takes place between 10-11 a.m. Prizes will be awarded for tagged fish only. If no fish are caught within the allotted time, a drawing for prizes will be held following the derby. For more information, please contact Debbie at 314-743-9947.
