The Valley of Flowers Festival, a beloved tradition in Florissant, is back and better than ever! This year, in partnership with the City of Florissant, the Knights of Columbus, and several local non-profit organizations, we are excited to announce that all festival activities will now take place at the Duchesne Grounds. While we regret to announce that carnival rides will no longer be a part of the event, we’re thrilled to bring you an unforgettable weekend full of family-friendly fun, delicious food, and great company in the heart of our community. Don’t worry, the always popular car show on St. Francois will continue as usual, with no changes to the schedule.
This year’s theme, “Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary, How Does Your Garden Grow,” is dedicated to our cherished friend and fellow board member, Mary Gettemeier, who touched the hearts of so many and sadly passed last year. Mary’s vibrant spirit and dedication to Florissant continue to inspire us, and we couldn’t think of a more fitting way to honor her legacy. Join us as we celebrate the beauty of community and tradition, bringing fresh energy and creativity to this year’s Valley of Flowers Festival. Let’s make it a year to remember!
