UMSL's MLK Day of Service

The University of Missouri–St. Louis (UMSL) will observe Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on Monday, January 20, 2025 at 11 AM in the Touhill Performing Arts Center. The event is free and open to the public.
The 2025 event will include a keynote address from the Newton Foundation, and performances by the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, the Sheldon's All-Star chorus, and the UMSL Voices of Jubilee choir.
UMSL also hosts an annual MLK Day of Service, a national initiative to recognize Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday by volunteering. UMSL students work with community agencies and service organizations on projects such as painting, cleaning, tutoring, and landscaping.
