Wentzville's Tree Lighting and Christmas Parade

The Annual Tree Lighting and Spirit of the Season Parade are Wentzville traditions. Mayor Nigh Guccione will officially begin the tree lighting ceremony at 5:30 p.m. in Historic Downtown Wentzville at the intersection of Luetkenhaus and Pearce Boulevards. The parade will begin after the Tree Lighting Ceremony is compete (approximately 6 p.m.) at Pearce Hall located at 317 W. Pearce Blvd. in Wentzville. It will travel down east down Pearce Boulevard and turn left to head north on Luetkenhaus Boulevard. It will and end at Station 1 Firehouse located at 502 Luetkenhaus Blvd in Wentzville. Following the parade, attendees may enjoy cookies, candy canes, hot chocolate and a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Station 1 Firehouse.

The Wentzville Downtown Business Association will provide awards for First Place ($100), Second Place ($50), Third Place ($25) and Honorable Mention. The Awards Ceremony will be held on Thursday, Dec. 12 at 6 p.m. at the American Legion Hall — Lower Level. Winners will be notified.
