Music & Arts Festival in Benton Park

The 2nd Annual So STL Music & Arts Festival will take place on September 21, 2024 from 12-10 pm on Illinois Ave. right outside Spine Indie Bookstore & Cafe and Benton Park.
The one-day music and art festival will feature 9 different St. Louis bands of different musical genres including Soulard Blues Band, The Vertigo Swirl, and Gerard Erker (of The Mighty Pines) along with 30 St. Louis Art and Food Vendors.
Raffle tickets will be available for purchase for $1 each or 6 for $5 for the 28 different raffle prizes available to win including tickets and gift certificates to The Fabulous Fox Theatre, Ted Drewes, SLU Basketball Game, City Museum, as well as products donated from St. Louis artists and Small Businesses.
The Grand Prize Raffle featured is a 2013 Gibson Les Paul Electric Guitar in Vintage Sunburst donated by the Gibson Guitar Foundation (Gibson Gives). Tickets for the grand prize raffle are $5 each or 5 for $20. Tickets for the grand prize are available for purchase online at The Gyres Society website (www.thegyressocietystl.org) now until the day before the festival and in person on the day of festival.
50/50 Drawings will be happening at 3pm, 6pm, and 9pm day of the festival.
All funds raised from the raffles and 50/50 drawings will be going to The Gyres Society and their mission of hosting inexpensive and inclusive music and art events for the St. Louis community.
Other Activities include the Kids Art Coloring Contest from 12-6pm for ages 18 and under with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awarded in each of the three age categories.
The Festival will be kicking off with a Second Line featuring Brassy McBrassface Brass Band and Joia Drumline starting at 12pm.
This is a free family-friendly community event open to the public. Lawn chairs and water bottles are permitted, as well as leashed dogs. The festival is outside and will be taking place rain or shine.
