Thierbach Orchards & Berry Farm U-Pick Apples

Our apple orchard features over a dozen varieties of apples that ripen from early August through mid-October. Our most popular varieties, the Mutsu and the Missouri Red may not be familiar to you but once you taste them you’ll know why people keep asking for them. We also grow Jonathan and Delicious apples that people are accustomed to. We sell our apples pre-picked and washed in our Market, or you can pick your own apples on Saturdays and Sundays in September and early October. For the PYO, just park at the Market and we’ll give you a free hayride over to the apples. We use our apples to make fresh apple cider, a treat that is hard to find and hard to beat!
We have expanded our entertainment area by adding some inflatable bounce houses to complement our mazes. This area is open in the Fall during apple-picking season.
The mazes are designed to challenge older kids and adults, although little ones love to run through them, too. The bounce houses are for the little kids.
We have opened our Mazes for you to visit them! Right now we have our Honeysuckle Vine Maze, our Rope Maze, and our Tile Maze completed. Those who have tried them so far seem to be having fun and are challenged to reach the middle of them. It's not impossible but at times it will feel like it is! Come check them out!
Now that the honeysuckle has filled out in the vine maze it is even more challenging! We suggest that adults, or at least an older child, accompany little kids into this one.
