Social Distancing BioBlitz at the Nature Institute

Help us inventory the many species that call TNI home! Go for a walk at The Nature Institute, bring your smart phone, and snap some pictures of what you see around you! It is easy and fund, and you don't need to know what you are taking a picture of, the iNaturalist app helps identify the species for you.

DIRECTIONS: Download the free iNaturalist app, create an account, then click More> Projects> Search> The Nature Institute Social Distance Spring BioBlitz> Join Project. You are all set – go out and have fun! The visitor with the most observations will win a Mississippi Mud Pottery hummingbird feeder! (Trails open 8 am – 6 pm, Tuesday-Sunday)

What Are Observations? An observation records an encounter with an individual organism at a particular time and location. This includes encounters with an organism or signs of organisms like tracks, nests, or things that just died.
