For more than 50 years, the Clifton Heights parish has honored this Lenten tradition with a massive feast every Friday during Lent, except Good Friday. In addition to the traditional fried cod, Epiphany serves cornmeal-crusted catfish, pollock, and battered shrimp. The parishioners are proud of their homemade sides, including creamy mac & cheese (the highlight of the feast) and vinegary coleslaw.
Yard signs will be available at the entrances of the Church in mid-February. Dessert donations are welcome to be dropped off at the gym after 8 am on Fish Fry Days. Call Monica Hunyar (781-2276) if you were not contacted by email and are able to volunteer.
