Vertical Voyages School Program/ Classroom In Trees

This innovative new tree climbing program is being offered to schools exclusively by Vertical Voyages. The program is designed to build teamwork and increase environmental awareness while exploring the canopy of a large tree ranging 50 - 80 feet tall. After an orientation, students are fitted in a harness and attached to safety ropes. The students then ascend the rope system to reach the first branches of the canopy, typically 20 feet above the ground. Throughout the experience your professional guide will teach participants about tree health; to ascend the ropes; and how an arborist gets the ropes into the canopy. We apply an educational twist on the fun, discussing the physics behind our pulley system.
