sammysoap manufacturers 100% all natural artisanal soaps and when the factory is open, customers can wander into the factory from the store to watch soap making in process. We all use soap every day but few understand what soap is, how it's made, or what soap does to your skin and system. Art meets chemistry in the factory and the result is magic. Formal factory tours are available for large groups. We regularly welcome classrooms, Scouts, faith groups, and clubs in the factory. Call today to schedule a tour.

We offer factory tours Thursdays and Fridays 11 am - 6 pm. For the official tour, there is a $10 + tax charge per participant to help support our mission. If there are chaperones or young children, the fee will not apply. There is a minimum requirement of 5 people for an official tour. We actually make cold process soap--which usually takes around a month before it is sellable--so it's not really a make-your-own soap tour so much as a series of interactive "snapshots" of the soap making process. All participants will get a bar of soap of their choice from the store at the end of the tour as well as a cut from the factory. The tours usually last an hour, but they can run longer if you come with questions. We can provide chairs if needed.

For groups less than five people, we offer walk-in factory hours for free whenever the soap maker is in. These are not scheduled, so it's not an in-depth demonstration. You usually just watch what he is working on at that given time and then get a kid's cut. During the summer, he's usually in later in the day (usually around 4pm, but sometimes later) due to heat (soap actually gives off heat while it's curing, you can imagine how hot it gets in the factory with this STL weather!)
