What began as a grassy spot between two oak trees has grown into the nation’s oldest and largest outdoor musical theatre. The Muny story, over a century in the making, is one of vision, perseverance, and commitment to culture and community.

Live Broadway-style musicals produced right here at the Muny's historic outdoor theatre in beautiful Forest Park. The Muny produces many different musicals with a diversity of styles and subjects, written during various periods. Because of the variety of work we do, our productions can vary in appropriateness for age groups.

The Muny is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to enrich lives by producing exceptional musical theatre, accessible to all, continuing its remarkable tradition in Forest Park.
