Broemmelsiek Park is 494 acres of natural beauty, equipped several large lakes for fishing and more than 9 miles of multi-use trails for hiking, biking, and equestrian use! It also features a 4.7-acre off-leash dog area with a large pond for dogs to splash around and play. This popular dog park was voted "Best Dog Park" in the region and it's the place for the annual Paws in the Park celebration!
The park's Astronomy Viewing Area is the first of its kind in St. Charles County. Every Friday night, weather permitting, the skies come alive as members of the Astronomical Society of Eastern Missouri (ASEM) offer public stargazing events beginning at dusk.
The park also includes a Visitors Center with a meeting room and scenic outdoor patio and deck that is available to reserve for parties and other special events, and 4-acre Historic Educational Agricultural Area that features a variety of crops grown in St. Charles County.
