Creve Coeur Lake Rentals

Creve Coeur Lake Rentals was started in 2009 with a pop up umbrella, a lawn chair, and a mission of providing recreational opportunities to park visitors. Cheryl Beckmann, a retired physical education teacher of 30 years, rented 4 wheel quadricycles to families with small children, and older adults, who might not otherwise be able to enjoy the park trail. With a simple recipe of hard work and customer service, what started as a weekend past time became increasingly popular with park patrons, and eventually evolved into Creve Coeur Lake Rentals. Amusingly known as “the lake lady”, Cheryl now operates her rental venue out of a gazebo on the beach on the southeast end of the lake.

All equipment is rented by the hour.
Phones and cameras are not recommended on the water.

Sorry, no reservations. If the equipment you want is not available, we put you on a wait list. Everyone in your group must be present to be on the list. We do not put people on the list over the phone. If you have a large group, we put you out as the equipment comes in. When the last person in your group goes out, that is when the groups time starts.

Pets are allowed in canoes only. Sorry, no pets in the kayaks or on paddleboards.

Quadricycle
The two person pedal quad has a weight limit of 400 pounds. Maximum weight in toddler seats is 25 lbs. Seating in front is similar to a shopping cart.
$16/hour.

Bicycles
Three speed bicycles.
6 adult bicycles available @ $10/ first hour, and $5 each additional hour. 200 lb. max. Helmets included.

Canoes hold three adults or two adults and two children. Maximum weight is 750 lbs. 12 canoes available @ $16/first hour, $8 for each additional hour.

Kayaks
29 sit in kayaks available @ $12/first hour, and $6 each additional hour. Maximum weight is 300 lbs.

16 tandem kayaks sit are available @ $16/first hour, and $8 each additional hour. Maximum weight is 450 lbs.

Stand Up Paddle Boards
34 paddleboards available @ $12/first hour, and $6 each additional hour. Maximum weight 300 lbs.

Life jackets and paddles included.

All rentals (except the quadricycles) are half price for each additional hour after the first hour, prorated to portions of an hour.

Equipment not returned by closing time will be charged a late fee of $5 every fifteen minutes. We use google for time. Please be courteous to our staff and return on time.
