Discovery Room at the Science Center

The Discovery Room has new features and experiences! Research shows that children grow socially, academically, and emotionally in play-based settings and the Discovery Room is a great place for you and your budding young scientist to immerse yourselves in playful exploration. Come and learn with us!

Adults do need a ticket. At least one adult must participate with every 4 children’s ticket purchased. Children may not be left unattended in the Discovery Room without an adult.

The Discovery Room is located on the 2nd floor of the main 5050 Oakland Building. Access is available through the main entrance, then up the stairs in the main lobby to the second floor, turn to your left and go passed Mission:Mars and Makerspace.
