The school offers 2 preschool locations near the main campus for 3-4 year-olds: at Timothy Lutheran Church and at St. Lucas Lutheran School. Preschool students are immersed in early education to encourage fine and gross motor skills, social, emotional, spiritual, and academic growth. Word of Life School provides learning for K-grade 8 students. The rigorous curriculum is joyously presented from the Lutheran Christian understanding, rooted in the Bible. Students receive religious instruction daily, and a weekly chapel service is held in the sanctuary. Kindergarten through grade 4 classes are mainly self-contained. Grades 5-8 are departmentalized in math, science, literature, writing, and social studies. Word of Life has an academic honor roll for students in grades 5-8. Students may also participate in a variety of extra-curricular activities: band, piano, choir, scouts, Lego robotics, scholar bowl, yearbook, and sports (soccer, volleyball, basketball, cross country, and track). Additionally, there is a student council for students in grades 4-8. Students also have the opportunity to participate in a Geography Bee, Spelling Bee, and Bible Bee.
