Daniel Boone Home Day Camp

Discover the frontier in new and exciting ways! Campers ages 11-17 travel back in time to 1830s Missouri and learn by doing during this week-long camp. Campers participate in journal making, hearth cooking with historic recipes, working with period woodworking tools and fiber materials and much more. Each camper is involved with projects to benefit the site as well as making take-home projects throughout the week. Campers must bring a sack lunch each day. Cost is $150 per person. Pre-registration required.

Campers participate in activities such as journal making, experiencing a 19th century schoolhouse lesson, working with period woodworking tools and fiber materials and much more. Camp hours are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The camp fee of $150 includes several take-home projects throughout the week. Campers must bring a sack lunch, daily. Pre-registration is required.
