
Camp Ausome is a day camp for children with autism ages 6-11, July 21-25 from 9-12. Camp maximum is 10 children. Camp Ausome is for children with autism to enjoy a typical camp experience.
Our mission through Camp Ausome is to provide a safe space for children with autism to engage in activities for summer camp with staff and volunteers familiar with autism. The vision for Camp Ausome is to give children the opportunity to play safely with a staff that is aware of their abilities and needs. We want to give the children support in learning social skills and participating in activities.
The activities will encourage participation at any skill level. The goal is to be safe and have fun!
Camp is July 21-25 at Miriam High School in Olivette. Camp activities are sports, crafts, music therapy and games. Children must be able to use the restroom independently.
Physicals are required to participate in camp. Children must be able to use the restroom independently to enroll in camp.
