MICDS Summer Stock Theater
MICDS Summer Stock Theater is a specialized program focused on theatre (acting skills, production assistance, and performance). The program is open to new and experienced actors and tech crew. We welcome campers who are interested solely in the technical sides of the theater. All campers wishing to act are given a role.
Age: Campers entering 7th-10th grades are welcome!
What to expect from the Summer Stock Theater program:
New and experienced actors and those interested in tech/crew
Non-musical, live evening performance
All campers wishing to act will be given a role
Professional director in a state-of-the-art theater setting
Workshops explore various aspects of acting and theater production
Master classes in various aspects of theatre
Work with an experienced director to build a non-musical production in our professional theater facilities. Daily acting workshops will challenge you to stretch your imagination, build your performance skills, and collaborate with your fellow actors. There are two performances on the final day of camp: a dress rehearsal for a live audience of Pegasus campers and other guests, and an evening performance for family and friends.
Summer Stock Theater Camp: June 15 – July 2 (No camp on June 19 or on July 3)
9:15 a.m. – 3:05 p.m. daily
Final performance is on Thursday, July 2 at 7 p.m.
NEW Summer Stock Shakespeare Camp: July 6 – 24
9:15 a.m. – 3:05 p.m. daily
Final performance is on Thursday, July 23 at 7 p.m.
