Laumeier Sculpture Park Summer Art Camps

Adventure into an inspiring new world full of sculptures, natural wonders, and imaginative art projects! Experience the woodland trails, creek, and green spaces of Laumeier Sculpture Park's beautiful 105-acre campus and get creative in our engaging education spaces. Young artists may choose to enroll in one, several, or all sessions offered.

Morning Little Buds / Ages 3.5-6
This half-day art camp is designed for artists ages 3.5-6. Young artists investigate seasonal art making through fun and messy hands-on activities, explore the woodland creek and trails, and learn and socialize through play! Young artists ages 3.5-4 must register for Morning Little Buds. Five- and six-year-olds may register for either half-day Little Buds or full-day Art Adventurers. Learn more.

Art Adventurers / Ages 5-10
This full-day art camp is designed for ages 5-10, with an emphasis on play, exploration, and friendship. Young artists learn about contemporary and historical artists, interact with special guests, immerse themselves in the woodland creek and trails, and experiment with a variety of materials and processes to create amazing works of art! Each session is inspired by a unique theme and young artists are divided into different teams by age. Five- and six-year-olds may register for either half-day Little Buds or full-day Art Adventurers. Art Squad / Ages 10-15
This full-day art camp is designed for artists ages 10-15. Artists learn about contemporary and historical artists, interact with special guests, explore the woodland creek and trails, create unique works of art, and build friendships. Each session is structured around a specific set of materials and techniques to encourage exploration of interests through hands-on experiences. Artists are divided into different teams by age. Ten-year-olds may register for Art Adventurers or Art Squad. Teen artists ages 13-15 may enroll in Art Squad and/or Teen Art Programs. Teen artists 16+ are welcome to inquire about Art Squad.
