St. Louis Curling Club

St. Louis Curling Club

If you’ve ever wanted to try curling, you’ve come to the right place. During the curling season (October-May) the St. Louis Curling Club schedules Learn to Curl sessions to introduce the public to the Olympic sport of curling. Our instructors will teach you the basics of curling and play a short game with you. We offer a Little Rockers program and a High School program.

Little Rockers is not a league, but an instructional session strictly for children ages 5 years old to 13 years old. We provide all the equipment and on-ice instructors. The club has junior stones that are half the weight of the regulation rocks. During the 1.5-hour long session, the children will be taught the basics of curling in a fun format through skill games and eventually Little Rocker curling matches. A responsible adult for each child (adult may be responsible for more than one child) MUST be present at the rink throughout the session. Helmets are mandatory, no exceptions. No need to have other any equipment, we will provide it all for you.

Our High School Program is an eight-week curling program for area high school students. The first night will be a Learn to Curl where new teams learn the basics of curling. Returning teams will have a Learn to Curl level 2 class, which will focus on improving delivery technique. The club will provide all needed equipment. If you are interested in participating, talk to your friends and get a team of four together! Everyone must register as a club member and then for the High School League individually. Please put your teammates and school affiliation on the "Notes" line. Program is limited to 2 teams/school unless there is extra space.
