Teachers as Tutors

My name is Hannah Church and in July 2021 I started a small business called Teachers As Tutors in response to the educational backslide instigated by COVID-19 and virtual learning.

As a former teacher, I know how difficult it can be for kiddos to catch back up after falling behind. Therefore, I made the decision to utilize my teaching background to help close this gap created during the pandemic.

Teachers as Tutors, LLC is a St. Louis based tutoring service and educational support team that contracts qualified teachers as aids to struggling children. My business takes a unique approach when supplementing the general education system. We guarantee that students are paired with licensed, qualified teachers based on content-level and grade level-expertise.

I know resources can be limited when searching for a qualified tutor, so I was hoping to offer support through my business. We are able to meet the needs of every child, with teachers proficient in all grade levels and content areas, and even some specialty areas (ESOL, reading intervention, etc.).

Not only do we help the students in our communities through tutoring services, but my business is dedicated to donating a portion of the profits to a charitable cause. We are on a mission to better the St. Louis area and the families that reside there.
