Dance Center of Kirkwood Summer Camps

Young dancers will develop a love of dance by using their imagination through creative movement. We will explore stories about their favorite princesses and bring the fairy tale to life. The little dancers will express themselves in ballet steps while developing musical skills. This nurturing camp will be filled with dance, music, creative activities, and fun crafts.

Encanto - May 27-30, 2024 $125 plus $20 for supplies.
Come be a part of the enchantment at the Dance Center as we explore the unique magic in all of us. We will use
creativity as we dance to the beautiful Encanto music. Dancers will find joy in movement and will create fun crafts.
for ages 3-5: 9:00-10:15am or 10:30-11:45am

Cinderella Camp - June 17-20, 2024 for ages 3-5: from 9:00-10:15am or 10:30-11:45am
$125 plus $20 for supplies.
Dancers explore the enchanted fairy tale of Cinderella through dance. Dreams really do come true. Campers will
have fun while dancing and making crafts.

Frozen - June 24 - June 27 for ages 3-5: from 9:00-10:15am / 10:30-11:45am $125 plus $20 for supplies.
Young students will develop a love for dance by using their imagination through creative movement. We’ll explore
the imaginary tale of Frozen and sing and dance like Anna & Elsa. Dancers will express themselves in ballet steps
while developing musical skills. This nurturing camp will be filled with dance, music, creative activities and fun
crafts. And families will be able to view a special dance at the end of the camp.

Nutcracker Ballet - June 24-27 from 12:30-2:30pm for ages 5-7 $200 plus $20 for supplies.
Children will study the classical holiday fantasy Nutcracker. They will do crafts and dance to Tchaikovsky’s
brilliant score. This 19th annual summer camp will focus on choreography, staging, costumes, and many more
exciting and creative surprises for a total immersion into the world of the performing arts.

The Little Mermaid - July 8-11 from 9:00-10:15am for ages 3-5 $125 plus $20 for supplies.
This camp is sure to be a great "part of your world" this summer. Join us as we go "under the sea" and learn ballet
in a fun environment. Dancers will also enjoy making crafts.

Sleeping Beauty - July 15-18 from 9:00-10:15am for ages 3-5 $125 plus $20 for supplies.
Fall under the spell of Sleeping Beauty, the ultimate princess fairy tale. We will dance to the beautiful score and
make lovely crafts.

Moana - July 22-July 25 from 9:00-10:15am for ages 3-5 and 10:30-11:45am for ages 6&7
$125 plus $20 for supplies.
This heartwarming story is about a strong-willed girl named Moana. She sets sail across the Pacific Ocean to save
her village and discover the truth about her heritage. Moana & Maui embark on an epic journey of bravery and
selflessness. Each day our campers will dance to the beautiful music from Moana and make Moana crafts. And
families will be able to view a special dance at the end of the camp.
