LifeBridge Partnership

LifeBridge Partnership

The organization known today as LifeBridge Partnership (formerly St. Louis Society for the Physically Disabled) began serving children with physical disabilities in 1927. During our 90 year history, we have evolved to meet the ever changing needs of people with disabilities in this community.

LifeBridge Camps are offered at various times throughout the year and provide a day camp setting for youth between the ages of 6-18 (19-21 if still enrolled in high school) who have a documented disability and live in St. Louis City and St. Louis County. We also offer transportation if needed.

The SPARK Club is an enrichment program offered to the students at Gateway School Complex in the City of St. Louis who have a physical or intellectual disability. The program is offered Monday – Thursday from 3 to 5 p.m. and includes enriching activities, community field trips, a healthy snack, and accessible transportation home. Students have the opportunity to attend a Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday session.

While attending SPARK Club, students will have an opportunity to practice skills including developing relationships, communicating with others, monetary transactions, and safety awareness in their community.
