YMCA CAMP LAKEWOOD

YMCA Camp Lakewood, now in its 75th year, is an experience like none other. Amid beautiful forest-covered hills and a private lake, Lakewood campers experience horseback riding, kayaking, archery and much more. They come away with new skills, confidence and friendships. Located on 5,200 acres in Potosi, MO, just 90 minutes from St. Louis, Lakewood is for campers ages 6-17. Camps include Traditional, Rangers (5 types of wilderness camps), Equestrian, Mini Camps for younger or first-time campers or anyone wanting a shorter session), and Leadership Programs including Counselor in Training for upper-grade high school students. Most camps are for five nights, with Mini Camps running for three nights and leadership programs for multiple weeks. The summer season for 2024 is June 2 – August 7.

Fees start at $510 and tiered pricing, discounts and financial assistance is available.

Inclusion & adaptive support services are offered to allow children who have disabilities to experience Camp Lakewood.
