Crown Ridge Tiger Sanctuary
Crown Ridge Tiger Sanctuary is a 501(c)3 non profit big cat rescue facility, licensed by USDA. We provide permanent lifelong care for abused, neglected, and unwanted big cats. We help give animals a voice by advocating for conservation of the species in the wild and the well-being of captive big cats. Through both on and off site presentations, tours, and educational programs, CRTS increases public awareness and inspires a change in the big cat crisis.
General Tours
Enjoy a 45 minute guided walking tour of Crown Ridge Tiger Sanctuary. Learn where the animals were rescued from, their personalities and how you can help these amazing big cats as well as their wild relatives. After the tour, head down to our Education Center and Gift Shop where you can view and even touch tiger artifacts such as teeth, claws, and a tiger pelt, just to name a few. All of the pathways are paved and accessible to wheelchairs and strollers.
Admission: $10 per person, kids 3 and under are FREE. Groups of 10 or more receive a 10% discount. No reservations required.
General Tours are offered Thursday - Sunday at 11,1 or 3. No reservations required.
*Monday/Tuesday tours by reservation only. No General Tours on Wednesday.
If you are looking for a little more action, the Early Bird tour is the one for you. Be the first visitors into the sanctuary for the day and see the animals let out into their yard for the first time that morning. You will see them exploring their enclosure, interacting with enrichment items or possibly eating a hidden morning snack. The observation deck is great for snapping photos of the animals and getting a bird's eye view of the sanctuary. We finish the tour by viewing artifacts, pictures, and other items in our Education Center and gift shop. This tour lasts 1 hour so you can enjoy extra viewing time with the animals. Year Round | 10 am ONLY
