 ades of educating young riders on bike handling, road awareness, and safety
  practices. The event will be held on May 16, 2025, with registration open 
 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.\n\n“We’re excited to celebrate the 50th annive
 rsary of this program, which has helped generations of local kids become mo
 re confident and safer cyclists,” said organizers from the City and Washing
 ton Police Department.\n\nFamilies are encouraged to bring their bicycles a
 nd helmets and take part in hands‑on safety stations, skill courses, and ed
