SUMMARY:Storytelling at the Missouri History Museum

 sitors and their families with songs, movement, traditional and contemporar
 y storybooks, and local history. Each story time connects with a different 
 theme that helps children explore their world and develop a love of reading
 . All story times are led by a dedicated educator who makes the activity in
 teractive, and we take special care to choose books that present a variety 
 of experiences and people our young guests can see themselves in. Storytell
 ing in the Museum supports early literacy and is a great opportunity for ag
 e-appropriate social-emotional learning.<br /><br />These programs are reco
 mmended for children ages 2–6 and their families, and each 30-minute sessio
 n is free. Storytelling in the Museum takes place in person on Tuesdays and
  Fridays from 10:30 to 11:00 am, and our bilingual Spanish-English storytel
 ling Cuentos en el Museo occurs second Saturdays and the fourth Friday of e
 ach month.
