Spring Training at the St. Louis Aquarium

This year, we’re going bigger, brighter, and longer. For the first time, we’re introducing two teams – freshwater grit meets saltwater flow. Two waters. One splashy showdown. Cheer them on as animal training takes center stage – Aquarium style.
River Runners: Grit, hustle, and a little chaos. These players are scrappy, fast, and proudly rough around the edges. They hustle hard, splash harder, and aren’t afraid to bend the rules of the river. Expect quick moves, sneaky skills, and a little attitude—this is a team that climbs, crawls, spits, and sprints their way to the spotlight. Messy? Maybe. Memorable? Always.
Tide Riders: Chill, smooth, and totally in the flow Cool, calm, and riding the rhythm of the waves, the Tide Riders bring smooth moves and easy confidence. They float, glide, and cruise into every moment with a smile—never rushed, never rattled. Don’t let the relaxed vibe fool you, though: beneath the chill exterior are powerful plays, surprising skills, and a whole lot of ocean swagger. This team goes with the flow… and still steals the show.

We’ve rounded up a dugout full of Spring Training-themed props—from oversized foam fingers to vintage-style bats—to help you and your crew create the ultimate fan photo. Whether you’re a heavy hitter or a rookie, these props are the perfect way to knock your group shots out of the park!

Get up close with our most iconic residents! Our Animal All-Star Presentations aren't just a show—they’re an exclusive look into the lives of our incredible ambassadors. Watch them show off their natural talents and learn what makes them a true "All-Star." Every presentation attendee has the chance to score an Exclusive All-Star Trading Card featuring the animal you just met!
Collectible Trading Cards:
The draft is over, and the roster is set! Our Animal All-Star Trading Cards have officially arrived, and we need you to help scout the talent. With 9 star players per team and elusive League Special cards hidden throughout the park, the ultimate scavenger hunt has begun.
Each card features stunning photography and detailed "scouting reports" so you can learn the stats and stories of your favorite animals.

Sunday Sluggers: Be one of the first 300 guests every Sunday to receive the "Card of the Week."
Get in the Game: Participate in an activity at our interactive habitats.
Showtime: Attend an All-Star Presentation at the Ambassador Animal Stage or catch a Dive Show.
The Legend Returns: Meet the one and only Shark Twain for a special card drop.
Wildcards: Keep a sharp eye out! Our Life Sciences Team carries cards for random encounters throughout the day.

Each Meet and Greet will provide an opportunity for guests to receive a collectible trading card featuring Shark Twain.
