Defy the Midwest cold and enjoy winter along the Mississippi River by jammin' at the Melvin Price Locks and Dam and National Great Rivers Museum!
The USACE Rivers Project's fifth annual Ice Jam at the Dam is a winter-themed festival to promote outdoor recreation and celebrate all things winter along the Mississippi River. Ice Jam will feature live music from the Pickin' Daisies, tours of the Melvin Price Locks and Dam, campfires, education booths, and more for the whole family! Ice Jam at the Dam also helps to support our friends group, the Meeting of the Rivers Foundation.

Free Animal Encounters by Treehouse Wildlife Center
Sled Dog Demonstrations by the Gateway Sled Dog Club at 11AM and 1PM
12:00PM Mascot meet-and-greet with Louie - St. Louis Blues Mascot
Education Stations from our friends at The Audubon Center at Riverlands, The Nature Institute, Missouri Dept. of Conservation, Cahokia Mounds World Heritage Site, Piasa Palisades Sierra Club, St Louis Canoe and Kayak Club, Mississippi River Water Trail, and Illinois Department of Natural Resources
Warm food and beverages from Pig on a wing, Travelin' Tom's Coffee Truck, and Ramblin’ Rounds mini donuts
