Join us for a cozy, indoor maple sugaring lesson just for preschoolers! We’ll start with storybook readings about maple trees and how people made syrup long ago. Through songs, stories, and hands-on activities, children will explore how sap turns into syrup. Preschoolers will learn how weather affects sap flow, see different syrup colors, practice counting tap holes, and discover why we only take a little sap to keep trees healthy. We may even get to try a sweet treat. Note: This program will take place entirely inside our classroom.
This program is designed for children ages 2-5, but siblings and family members of all ages are welcome. Please register EACH person who will be present.
